Redevelopment of Third Street, Fourth Street, and Fifth Street, Horden
As part of our continuing delivery of the Horden Masterplan we are seeking views on a proposed planning application for the redevelopment of the Third, Fourth and Fifth streets.
This is in line with phase one of the Masterplan delivery which is centred around Third Street, the former Fourth Street and Fifth Street.
A scheme of around 100 modern, spacious and energy efficient family homes and bungalows are proposed. With approximately 50 of the units proposed as council homes, as part of the council house delivery programme.
Feedback will be used within the submission of our planning application.
Once the planning application is submitted, a statutory period of consultation will occur.

Next steps
Once the planning application is submitted, a statutory period of consultation would be undertaken in line with planning regulations by the Local Planning Authority. The planning application will be accompanied by a Statement of Community Involvement detailing the consultation.
An update in respect of this will be provided in due course.
