Easington Colliery Community Action Scheme

We have moved into Easington Colliery where we will be from 6 October 2025 until 6 February 2026.

We will concentrate on the following streets.

Oswald Terrace to the West
Streets to the north of Crawlaw Road
Streets to the south of Tower Street until Allan Street
Seaside Lane and including Welfare Close, Ascot Street, down to Boston Street and the west side of Station Road.

In the first phase of this programme, we ask local groups, residents, and businesses in the local community about what concerns they would like us to tackle together and agree on 3-4 priorities.

In the second phase on this programme we use this information to then plan and carry out 14 weeks of action as we have decided to extend our time in Easington Colliery to accommodate the Christmas period.

In the final phase of this programme we ask you what impact our actions have had on the area.

Identifying issues and planning priorities

Our programme officially moves to Easington Colliery on 6 October.

Please share your views in this first phase, if you live, work or visit this area. You can attend a drop in session, complete the survey online or complete a paper survey.

We want to learn more about what's good about the area, what are the main issues in the area and where do you currently find help with a number of different issues.

Your feedback in this phase will help us identify priorities that we, along with our partners, can take action on in the next phase of this programme. Priorities could include a range of things such as tackling antisocial behaviour, dealing with rubbish, making homes more energy efficient and ways to improve health and wellbeing.
